Building Inclusive, Equitable & High-Performing Workplaces

DEI and accessibility leadership work for corporate teams and academic institutions — grounded in lived experience, human-rights frameworks, and organisational systems design.

The Problem

Why most DEI efforts stall

Most DEI work stops at awareness — a workshop here, a policy there — because it's treated as an HR initiative rather than a leadership responsibility. Inclusion becomes real when it's built into how leaders make decisions, allocate opportunity, and design the systems people work inside. That's where EquiCore works: with the leaders who control those systems, not around them.

Services

Where we work

Inclusive Leadership Development

Executive and management-team engagements that shift how leaders make decisions, distribute opportunity, and model inclusive behaviour — building psychological safety as a leadership discipline, not a slogan.

Accessibility & Disability Inclusion

Building organisational fluency in accessibility as a leadership and governance priority, grounded in lived experience and aligned with India's Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act.

Accessibility & Inclusion Audits

A structured review of hiring, workplace, and digital systems against accessibility and equity benchmarks, resulting in a clear, prioritised roadmap — not a generic scorecard.

Advisory & Executive Coaching

One-to-one and small-group work with senior leaders on disability-confident leadership, navigating difficult conversations, and repairing culture after it's broken down.

The Practice

Why organisations work with EquiCore

Vikas Gupta works with boards and executive leadership on two questions most governance frameworks have yet to answer well: how inclusion gets embedded into institutional accountability structures, and how organisations govern the AI systems now shaping their most consequential talent decisions.

His perspective is grounded in practice, identity, and policy. His experience of disability gives him a practitioner's understanding of exclusion — not as compliance, but as institutional design failure. His work on AI governance examines how algorithmic systems amplify structural exclusions, and what accountability frameworks organisations need before reaching consequential decisions.

Through EquiCore Consulting, he advises leaders and boards on closing the gap between DEI execution and governance accountability — with particular focus on the oversight failures that emerge when AI enters the talent pipeline.
